One of the coolest features Facebook introduced a few years back was the option to change the name of our profile page. Now, instead of having to write our personal names and our companies’ names on our personal page, we can change the name of our page in our profile. So how do we go about this? There are a number of ways. In this article, we will highlight some of them and help you figure out which one is suitable for your needs.
The first option would be to log-in to the Facebook application and click on the Account tab. On the right hand side, click on “acs”, then scroll down to “user management”, click on “Change name”. You will be required to fill in the form. The required information would include the full name of the person, their first and last names, their current email address, their phone numbers and any other relevant information.
Another option would be to go to the Settings tab, click on “handle name”, scroll down to “change name”, and click on the link that says “edin” or “uid”. This will bring up the user’s profile settings. Select the person you would like to use their name as well as their email address for the profile. Change the name and update the other information.
The third option would be to go to the main Facebook page and click on “app settings”. Here, scroll down to “features”. The appropriate link will be available. Click on it. You will be required to fill in the appropriate information. Change the user’s name and update their email address.
The fourth option is to go to the Facebook application and click on the gear icon. Scroll down until you reach the section called “acs settings”. The appropriate link will be there. Click on it. Now you can modify the user’s name and update their email addresses. If you wish to change their name, you need to click on the appropriate link.
These are the four approaches on how to change name on Facebook quickly. However, each of them has some flaws. They are not ideal because they require you to spend some time logging into the Facebook site and changing your profile details. For many, this is a very time-consuming process and does not guarantee that the name you have chosen will remain after the change.
The fifth approach to how to change name on Facebook app would be to use the built-in option. This option is available if you have already set up your profile in Facebook. When you click on” Apps” at the top of the page, you will be directed to the section where you can click on “Facebook apps”. You will see an option there for selecting the user you want to use as your Facebook account.
If you have already selected a user, click on “Apps” again. From the list of applications, choose the one for which you want to set the new name. If you do not want to select a user, you can just click on “ios”. In that case, the user name and the password you have registered for your Facebook account will be shown as well. You can change them as you wish. However, the name you have used as a Facebook user will be reset to the one of your choice every time you log in to the platform.
There are, however, some drawbacks of using this approach. As you would imagine, Facebook limits the number of characters allowed for the names of the profiles. In addition, Facebook restricts the spellings of names too. There is also the issue that you can only change your username once. Once you log out of the platform, your profile will return to the default name you have used. That is, you cannot change it again.
If you are wondering how to change name on Facebook app, the final solution is to use the personalization feature of the application. Once you complete your profile and click “verify”, you will be asked to choose a user name and a password. You can use your already chosen Facebook password to log into your account.
